St. Louis Senior Dog Project

(St. Louis, MO, USA)
St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a licensed animal rescue group focused on finding homes for older animals that may be overlooked by other rescues, or turned away by other shelters.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit public charity. We are an all volunteer organization and pay no salaries. Our efforts are funded primarily by donations.
We get our animals from shelters all over the state of Missouri, and in some cases even network with other rescue groups all over the country. Our dogs also come from puppy mill busts, cruelty seizures, owner surrenders, and breeder surrenders.
We started our organization in 2002 and became licensed in 2003. We have since rescued over 3000 dogs. Our average number of adoptions per year is 500.
Please consider our group for a future donation. Older animals deserve to find retirement homes and not be euthanized in shelters because of their age. Our dedicated volunteers put their hearts and souls into saving these animals, please help us continue our efforts.
